Project Summary:
In Spring 2017, there were two periods of high water along the Columbia River that caused erosion of portions of the levee system near NE 122nd and Marine Drive. To protect the levee against additional erosion, MCDD contracted an excavator to reinforce the levee system in this area.
Benefit:
Protect MCDD levee from additional erosion, which could undermine the function of the levee system.
