Lori Baker is a certified public accountant and is the Director of Finance and Administration. She has 35 years of finance and accounting experience and in her role oversees the finance and administration teams at MCDD. Prior to joining MCDD in August 2022, Baker served in a variety of government leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer at Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, and Director of Finance at TriMet. During her career, Baker has been responsible for a variety of public debt issuances, management of budget processes, federal and state grant programs, and financial compliance programs. While at the park district, Baker implemented an equity in procurement program that included outreach, training and support for minority businesses. Born and raised in Oregon, Baker has a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (Cum Laude) from the University of Oregon, and has been a CPA with the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants since June 1990.
